Probe of the Month February 2018

February’s Probe of the Month is a special right-angle stylus made almost entirely of carbide. It features a 2.0 mm diameter carbide ball on a 1.25 mm carbide shaft, attached to a 2.5 mm diameter carbide ball on a 1.75 mm diameter carbide shaft. It has a stainless steel sleeve for a base with two set screws, presumably for mounting on a shaft. It weighs 6.05 grams as shown.
